Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is some foreshadowing in this chapter when it comes to the experiment. Mandy’s abilities are stronger than Jemmy’s. Why would that be? Well, I guess it’s linked to the other abilities time travelers can get. Mandy’s is stronger than Jemmy’s, but that could just be for now. A little like Claire still has to come into her healing abilities.

The foreshadowing, though, is when everyone goes through the stones to get to Claire and Jamie. In Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, Mandy was the one to keep them all together. She realized that they were all being pulled apart, and she figured the one thing that would pull them all together and get them to where they need to be. I do get a sense of that happening in this chapter.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I would love to see the experiment on the children. I guess the only way that can happen is if Joe Abernathy returns, which may or may not be possible. Something that I just want to see is how Mandy and Jemmy are different to other time travelers in their abilities.

I would love to see the mention of Frank, but I doubt there will be much time. However, I do think the show should offer us some bonding between Bree and Jemmy at this point. It doesn’t have to take long.
