Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 95 breakdown

We head back to Brianna in 1980 in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 95

It’s time to head back to the 20th century in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 95. We catch up with where Brianna is now, which is in California.

We had an idea as to where Bree was anyway. Joe had already noted that there was an American stamp and there was a mention of Disneyland. So, that meant that Bree had made her way to California, but Joe was confused about why Roger wasn’t there.

We know why Roger wasn’t there. Bree also finally finds out where her husband ended up after traveling through the stones. It turns out that Roger was able to write a letter and get it in the desk at Lallybroch. When Joe was moving the desk, the letter was found.

This chapter certainly sets up the plot for the rest of Bree’s story in this book. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

As for it being used in the TV series, I expect to see it. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
