Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 94 breakdown
It’s time for a wedding or two in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 94
One thing that I love about Outlander is all the different weddings we’ve had. Outlander Book 8, Chapter 94 brings us another wedding involving two couples.
Claire and Jamie, Bree and Roger, and Marsali and Fergus have married in the books. They each had a different type of wedding, and the same applies to the marriages of Dottie and Denny and Rachel and Ian.
Reverend Figg is the one doing this wedding, and we get to see a very different style. They go for the Quaker style, which gives the couples a chance to commit to each other with their family and friends surrounding them. Of course, Rollo is there as Ian’s “best man,” and that’s the most adorable thing ever.
This chapter doesn’t foreshadow too much. I think it’s more about getting on with the plot now that the drama is over. After all, we are getting close to the end of this book.
As for using it in the series, I expect to at least see Rachel and Ian eventually marry. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation part of the post.
Let’s dive into Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 94.
