Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter certainly reminds us that Richardson is a threat. We still don’t know what sort of threat that is. There is also plot development in the form of Ben and in Dottie’s request for the house for a wedding.

There is a little bit of foreshadowing for William, though. It comes in his decision to just tell Dottie about Jamie. Dottie isn’t shocked, and I think that offers foreshadowing of how others are going to take the news; especially those who matter. William is coming to terms with it, and it helps that people like Hal and Dottie aren’t going to look at him differently.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I’m in two minds about whether this chapter is going to be used or not. On the one hand, it could be if the Greys storyline is going to be used. However, I just don’t think there will be enough time for that when it comes to the TV series. There are only 26 episodes left, and that’s not a lot of time to wrap up so many storylines. Why introduced yet another one?

We may see William tell Dottie the truth about his father. It’s not clear if Dottie is going to be introduced or not, though. I think we’ll get a better idea as we see the first half of Outlander Season 7.
