Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There isn’t much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. It’s all about focusing on things to come. What will Jamie do now? Where will Jamie and Claire go? There is so much to think about.

When William shows up, I think that foreshadows one thing. There will come a peace between Jamie and William of sorts. William will realize that he can rely on Jamie to help when the time comes.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I do expect to see this chapter used. At least, I expect the first part to be used. I’m not sure if there will be enough time for all of Ian’s storyline, but I think we’ll see Claire and Jamie discuss what’s to come next.

Part of me wonders if this is how the show will end in Outlander Season 8. Could we see Claire and Jamie head back to Fraser’s Ridge at the very end? Could we see them arriving as Roger and Bree return? That is definitely something I could get behind, as long as Jamie’s ghost is explained at the very end.
