Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t see anything really in the form of foreshadowing in this chapter. This is all about plot development and catching everyone up on the situation at hand. Now John and Jamie know the same information about William, and it’s time for them to work together to save their boy.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

While I don’t expect a lot of the John and Hal scenes to be used in the TV series as there isn’t enough time, I do expect to see this one. This isn’t about John and Hal, but about William. I do think we’ll see Richardson’s storyline play out. Part of me has a feeling that he is going to be the big villain of Outlander Season 8, and we may even see that start in Season 7.

That means having a chapter like this. We need to see everyone working together to protect William.
