When is Love Again coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

Love Again is only just out in theaters, but you already want to add it to your DVD collection. This is a cute romantic movie that sees Sam Heughan take on yet another gentleman. Okay, this guy does something a little shady in the form of reading the text messages of one woman to her deceased lover, but in the end, he shows he never intentionally set out to hurt her.

So, how long will it take to add this movie to your DVD collection? With the movie only just out in theaters, it doesn’t have a release date just yet. We’ll need to look at other movies from the same production studio to get an idea.

While this is a Screen Gems movie in the U.S., it’s distributed by Sony Pictures. We’re looking at other movies from Sony to get an idea. For this post, we’re using 65 and The Pope’s Exorcism.

When will Love Again come to DVD and Blu-ray?

It is taking 65 about two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD. The Pope’s Exorcism is only taking about two months. We could see Love Again anywhere in between, but it’s really going to depend on how well it performs in theaters.

We could see the movie come to DVD and Blu-ray as early as Tuesday, July 4. That will certainly make a lot of people’s Independence Day—and there is a bit of poetry in the release considering Sam Heughan’s character Jamie Fraser is fighting for the Patriots in the Revolutionary War in Outlander right now.

What about the Digital release? That is going to be sooner than the DVD release. It’s taken two to four weeks for the other movies to head to Digitla. With that in mind, we could be looking at the middle to the end of May for the Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas movie.

Love Again is currently out in theaters.
