Men in Kilts Season 2 is not coming in May 2023

The news about Men in Kilts Season 2 has been pretty slim. Do we know when the show will arrive? What was the news Sam and Graham recently shared?

It’s been a very long wait for anything about Men in Kilts Season 2. All we know right now is that the season will not arrive on STARZ in May 2023. We double-checked the list just in case, but it isn’t on there.

It’s not that we expected it. With Outlander Season 7 just around the corner, STARZ will likely now want to hold this show for the break between the two halves of the time-traveling drama series. However, we had hoped to have something by now.

When will Men in Kilts Season 2 come to STARZ?

This is a series that finished filming early in 2022. We had hoped to have the season by now, but STARZ is holding onto it. Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish teased news about it on Friday, April 21, only for us to find out that it wasn’t about the show but about the book instead.

Just like the first season, there will be a book that covers the two’s travels across New Zealand. The book will be out on Nov. 7, 2023. You can pre-order right now wherever you get your books.

This could give us an idea as to when the show will arrive. STARZ is likely to time the release of the season with the release of the book. This would put Men in Kilts Season 2’s release date within the middle of the two parts of Outlander Season 7, helping us to get through that Droughtlander. It makes sense to wait for the release of the series to time with the book since they are about the same journey.
