Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There isn’t much in the way of foreshadowing in this post. This is more about plot development as it continues the story of Percy and Fergus. There is more to come when it comes down to Fergus potentially inheriting the fortune.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I do think that we could see this chapter used in the TV series. While before, I’ve said that there won’t be enough time for the Percy storyline, this part of the story makes it possible. Everything before could be avoided. It could just be a little bit of backstory for John to eventually explain. The parts with Percy finding Fergus and wanting to find out if Fergus is the Parisian he’s looking for is the important part.

I would like to see Fergus’s story fleshed out. As of right now, we don’t even have confirmation that Fergus and Marsali will be part of Outlander Season 7 or even into Season 8. We just have to hope that we’ll get to see more of them in the story.
