Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There isn’t much in the foreshadowing department. I guess there’s a little about the trouble Germain will face when he returns home, but that’s it.

The main bulk of this chapter is plot development. We know that Jamie and Claire need to figure out what to do for John, and there’s clearly more to Percy’s story. He wants something, and Germain knows that he wants Fergus for something. Of course, we know that it’s linked to Fergus’s parentage, but why hasn’t Percy been completely open about that?

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I would love to see some of this chapter adapted for Outlander Season 7 or Season 8. I doubt that the Percy parts will be used as I don’t think there will be enough time, but I think we’ll see Jamie and Claire realize that John is in the ranks. We need to see this little reunion.

I’m not sure how much of the story will be used, though. There is a lot to get through, and I just don’t think there’s enough time for all of it. I want to see some of it, though. I want to see the fallout between John and Jamie, even if it is on a smaller level than in the books to suit the time available.
