Outlander Season 7 is not coming to STARZ in April 2023
As much as we would love to see it, Outlander Season 7 is not going to arrive on STARZ next month. There is a light at the end of the Droughtlander tunnel, though.
We are ready for Outlander Season 7. The bad news is that the season is not ready for us. It isn’t going to premiere on STARZ in April 2023.
That’s not too surprising. After all, STARZ did tell us that it would arrive in the summer, and we’re nowhere near that just yet.
We do have some great news, though. We know when this current Droughtlander will come to an end.
Outlander Season 7 premiere date on STARZ
The premium cable network has announced that Outlander Season 7 will premiere on Friday, June 16. Yes, Friday. It’s important to note the change of day the episodes air.
Episodes will be available at midnight ET on all STARZ streaming platforms. It will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the linear channel. In Canada, the show is moving from W Network to STARZ, and the episodes will air on LIONSGATE+ internationally.
There did come a little bit of bad news with the premiere date. We got confirmation that the season would be split in two. It’s something many expected, but there was always that hope the season would run 16 episodes back to back. STARZ hasn’t done this before, but there’s always a first, right?
Instead, we’ll get eight episodes during the summer. The second half of the season will then air sometime in 2024. It is possible we could get a February 2024 premiere date, but we’ll keep an eye out for the plans for that. Hopefully, that Droughtlander isn’t going to be too long and it will also mean keeping the final Droughtlander to a minimum.
