Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t see a lot of foreshadowing or even plot development in this chapter. It really is about getting Claire and Jamie settled for the next part of the story.

The only thing that stands out is their location. They’re not too far from Lord John Grey, so a reunion is coming.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I don’t really think this chapter is going to be used. It doesn’t add too much benefit to the story, and there isn’t a lot of time for a lot of these smaller moments.

Plus, Claire has already met Washington. That happened in Outlander Season 4 before the Revolutionary War even started. I would love to see her meet more and maybe see the Lee/Washington rivalry start, but I don’t think there’s a need for it with the overall story.
