When will Call the Midwife Season 12 premiere on PBS?

Call the Midwife is a great series to help through Droughtlander, and there’s great news. Call the Midwife Season 12 is coming very soon.

There is not long left to wait to watch Call the Midwife Season 12 in the United States. Yes, the series has already aired this season in the UK so we are behind. That’s the norm for British shows, though. This series is worth the wait.

The 12th season picks up in 1968. That’s a special year in the world of Outlander as it’s when Claire decided to head back through the stones to get to Jamie after being separated for 20 years. We’ll get a chance to see the world of medicine she left behind, especially when it comes to helping the women of the time.

There is not long left to wait for the season at all. Call the Midwife Season 12 will premiere on Sunday, March 19. That is this Sunday!

There are eight episodes to the season, and we’ll get them weekly. So, you’ll want to tune into PBS for the next eight weeks, with the finale set to air on Sunday, May 7. All episodes will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on PBS.

Did you miss the episode live? You can get the PBS app to be able to stream online. This is where you’ll get all previous seasons and other excellent PBS shows including Sanditon and Victoria.

The premiere episode will introduce Sister Veronica. She’s an immediate hit with the majority of the nuns at Nonnatus House, but she’s sure to rub a few the wrong way. Just what is she going to do that makes some p people suspicious or make them dislike her?
