Will Ed Speleers be in You Season 5?
You Season 5 hasn’t been officially confirmed, but we’re fully expecting it to happen. Will Ed Speleers be part of the season?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed that You Season 5 is going to happen just yet. With the popularity of the series and the need for Joe’s story to come to an end, we’re expecting the fifth season to happen. It could very well be the last, but we’re at least expecting it to happen.
The big question for Outlander fans is whether Ed Speleers will be in the new season. What happened to his character, Rhys Montrose, in the fourth season and is there a way to bring him back to the story?
Ed Speleers probably won’t be in You Season 5
It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see Speleers in the new season. After all, the character died during the seventh episode of Season 4.
Never say “never.” We have seen characters come back. Just look at Love returning during the fourth season despite her death in the third season.
In fact, we even saw Rhys back throughout the last few episodes of Season 4. He became part of Joe’s imagination as we learned that Joe was completely losing his sanity. Joe looked up to Rhys and in his head made Rhys the killer. Rhys was never actually the Eat the Rich killer. It was Joe all along.
This does open the door for Rhys to return. He could continue to be part of Joe’s head, although Joe started to see through it all by the end. Unless that happens, there’s no way for the character to return to the story and it looks like Ed Speleers is looking for more work. We don’t think that will take long.
