You’re likely spending the weekend binge-watching the remaining five episodes of You Season 4. What about You Season 5? Will that happen?

If you’re looking for something to get through Droughtlander, Netflix is the place to turn. There are some great shows, but there is one in particular that stands out right now. You Season 4, Part 2 is streaming, and it includes Outlander‘s Ed Speleers and Andrew Gower.

There will be many people wondering about the future of the series. Will there be a fifth season, or has Netflix decided to cancel the show?

Is You Season 5 happening at Netflix?

As of right now, Netflix has not confirmed if You Season 5 will happen or not. This isn’t too surprising. Netflix isn’t in the habit of offering early renewals, and we can often have to wait a couple of months to see the decision.

A show like this deserves closure, though. That’s especially the case when it is one of the most popular shows on the streamer. It would suggest that we’ll get a fifth season.

Will it be the last? That’s certainly plausible. It is only a matter of time before Joe Goldberg is caught for everything that he’s done in the past. He’s been lucky to avoid it all for the time being, but justice needs to be served.

Back in 2020, showrunner Sera Gamble said that she could see the series running for “several more seasons,” but Penn Badgley has shared that he thinks Season 5 will be the last. He did say that he signed a six-year contract, which could mean Season 6 is plausible. However, he says that everyone is concerned with the show dragging on, so one more season to see justice against Joe could be perfect.
