Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is certainly the development of other time travelers in this post. I think it’s mostly about furthering the fantasy element in a natural way for the story.

However, I guess there is some foreshadowing at the very end. It’s not a lot, and it is more of plot development than foreshadowing. I get a sense that Hector believes that Roger may be fully healed at some point.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I do think that this chapter will be used. We need to see that there are other time travelers dotted around the past, and this is a great way to show that. I think it’s important to see that a lot of time travelers end up integrating themselves into the past because they have to. Some just find it easier than others.

To be honest, going 100 years or so back from the 19th century to the 18th century probably wasn’t that much of a culture shock. It’s not like there were some of the major advances that we saw in the 20th century. It would be interesting to see some of that play out in the series.

There should be time for all this. The chapters have been short, which means they shouldn’t need much time to adapt into the TV series.
