Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

As mentioned, the chapter doesn’t give us all that much when it comes to foreshadowing. I guess it is really just about that continued feeling of fear and a threat of Cameron showing back up.

All that is clear right now is that Rob Cameron remains a threat. I guess there’s a tiny bit of plot development, but nothing that hasn’t already been done in the previous chapters.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I do expect to see this chapter used in the TV series, especially if we get the chapter of Jem and Mandy going to Fiona. There’s no reason not to include it. We need to see that Bree will do what she needs to protect her family.

We know that Bree is a protective person. She is skilled with a rifle, and she will be willing to stay up all night to protect what is hers. Rob Cameron has no idea what he’s run into, and we need to see that play out in the TV series.

There is time for this in Outlander. After all, these chapters of Bree with Cameron and Roger in the past are very short. They would easily fit into one or two episodes depending on how long the show wanted to expand this storyline.
