Did Rhys Montrose die in You Season 4, Part 1?

Outlander’s Ed Speleers came into You Season 4, Part 1. What happened to his character? Was Rhys Montrose one of the characters to die?

It’s great to see Outlander actors in other shows, especially when they get to play slightly different characters. Ed Speleers came into You Season 4, Part 1 as Rhys Montrose, a man who was raised on a council estate but went to Oxford after finding out he is the son of a lord.

The season opened not with Joe Goldberg stalking yet another person, but instead with a murder mystery. That grew as more and more rich people turned up dead. Would Speleers be one of those killed during the first five episodes of the season?

Will Rhys Montrose return after You Season 4, Part 1?

There were three deaths during the first season. None of them were Rhys Montrose. We won’t give away who were killed as that would mean spoilers.

The good news is that it means Rhys can return in the second set of five episodes. Of course, without watching the first episodes yet, you’ll want to know if there’s a chance he’ll be in the whole season. I’d say there’s a pretty good chance considering the storyline.

Rhys revealed that he is running for mayor, and he announced that officially at the end of the first part of the season. That doesn’t mean he’s a character that we like. If you thought Stephen Bonnet was bad, wait until you see the sort of threat Rhys is to Joe and the people around Joe.
