Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is some plot development for Buck. We find out that he has heart problems due to time travel. However, within this plot development is some foreshadowing. Buck is not going to be the only one to suffer from heart problems. We know that Bree does during Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone and that she’s not able to travel anymore after that.

Time travel is dangerous, but it’s not something that’s touched too much on in the TV series. It’s mentioned more in the books, and now we see the side effects of it.

I think there’s also a bit of foreshadowing in how Roger can help. He’ll do more than just sit by Buck’s bedside.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I expect to see this chapter used in Outlander Season 7. We need to see Brian come across Buck and see that MacKenzie resemblance. It’s just a fun part of time travel.

I think we also need to see Buck’s heart problems. We need to see those dangers of traveling through time, especially if Bree has heart problems at a later point, forcing the MacKenzies to stay in the past when they get there later on.

Plus, I want to see Brian working with Roger. Like we need to see Fiona being there to help Bree in the 1980s, we need to see Brian being there for Roger in the 1730s.
