Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a little bit of foreshadowing in the trouble to come. Rob may not end up getting back into Lallybroch, but he’s not just going to sit by and do nothing. He wants that gold, and he will stop at nothing to get to Jem. That means attacking Fiona.

I guess Bree staying at the house shows that she isn’t thinking everything all the way through. She isn’t fully working with all the information that she has.

I think there’s also a little bit of foreshadowing in Bree, Jem, and Mandy heading through the stones. The past is the safest option since it doesn’t look like Rob can time travel. Bree needs to get back to Roger somehow, and Roger will stay in the past until he finds his son, even though the search is in vain.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

The chapter should be used in the TV series. I would love to see Bree turn to Fiona for help, especially with how Fiona helped Roger go through the stones for Bree in the first place. We need to see that the MacKenzies have someone they can trust with the knowledge of time travel. Claire has Jamie and now Young Ian, and Bree can have Fiona.

There should be enough time. The whole of this part may not be included in Outlander Season 7, but I think a good chunk of it will due to the need for drama for Roger and Bree’s story and not that much of it in An Echo in the Bone. That should allow for this part to be included. If not, it should be in Outlander Season 8.
