Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 32 breakdown
Rob Cameron remains a threat in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 32
Bree may have Jemmy back, but the threat is still out there in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 32. Rob Cameron is no longer where Bree left him.
I don’t think Rob leaving is all that surprising. What is surprising is that the house was locked from the outside. Not only is Rob a threat somewhere outside the house, but he’s also a threat inside. Home is supposed to be where we feel the safest, and that’s not the case for the MacKenzies right now.
Jem is also concerned about Rob having accomplices. How many does he have? It’s clear that this is much bigger than Rob Cameron trying to get his hands on some gold. I think this is where there is some foreshadowing in the chapter. I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.
This chapter is sure to be used in the TV series. I’ll get to my thoughts on why that has to be the case in the adaptation section.
