We get to end the week with something good in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 30

It’s been a tense few chapters for Bree, but she gets some good news in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 30. We get to see her reunited with Jemmy.

This chapter is split in two parts. We get to see what Jemmy is doing in the tunnels, and we get to see what Bree and Mandy are doing. There’s a moment where we panic just a little, but the ending of the chapter is worth it.

This is all about plot development. There are a few thoughts of the gold and mentions of Mandy’s abilities in it, but it’s all about reuniting mother and son. One thing is clear; Rob Cameron is going to be in some trouble. I’ll get to all of that in the foreshadowing section.

I want to see this chapter used in the TV series, and I suspect it will be. It’s short enough to fit in and works well with other chapters in the story. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 30.
