Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter doesn’t foreshadow all that much. There is certainly some plot development, but this is more of a time travel-focused chapter. Roger is in the wrong time, and now he needs to decide  whether he’s going to change time or not.

If it foreshadows anything, it’s that he’s not the only one with the ability to change events. There is someone in the Revolutionary War who poses a threat to America becoming America.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

The chapter is sure to be adapted. We know that Andrew Whipp is going to be in Outlander Season 7. We haven’t seen who will play teenage Jenny yet, but she’s sure to be in it too. This is all in the seventh season instead of the eighth season, which means some of Written in My Own Heart’s Blood is going to be used early.

It’s not surprising that the book is going to be used a season early. As I’ve mentioned before, An Echo in the Bone doesn’t have a lot that involves Bree and Roger. Not in terms of drama for TV anyway. We need to see the Book 8 storylines instead.
