Just the Outlander chapter

The chapter starts with Bree and Mandy in the car. Bree needs to find Jemmy, and she just starts driving. This is a chance for her to trust Mandy, who is wearing her Halloween mask almost like she’s a superhero on the hunt for her brother.

Mandy is able to tell Bree that they’re getting colder by driving to Inverness. Bree does a U-turn to continue the search.

While all this goes on, Bree thinks about shooting Rob. She’s willing to do it if she gets her son back, but she knows that she could go to prison for that. What would happen to the children if that happened? Roger is gone right now, and they both have no family anywhere. I think this brings up something for even in the future. What will happen to Jem and Mandy if something happened to both Roger and Bree?

Meanwhile, we head back to Jem in the tunnel. He gets to the turbine room, which is very noisy. Jem reminds himself that they are just machines and not monsters, reminding us that he is just a child. He also thinks about how the stones are much scarier, so he’s able to push himself forward. He finds the Engineer’s Room and walks in. What will be on the other side?
