Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter certainly foreshadows things for Jemmy and Mandy. It continues to give us that connection between the two of them, but it also gives us that ability Mandy seems to have to keep everyone together. It’s like she can feel what everyone else is feeling and knows the best way to deal with a situation.

I think we also get some foreshadowing of Roger and Buck’s trip. While they will make it through to the past, it’s not going to be an easy right. Bree will find a way to get back to him, but it’s going to take time. Bree is resilient, though.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I expect to see this chapter used in Outlander, and I think it will be used in Season 7. We know Rob Cameron will show up in the seventh season. Of course, he’s in the seventh book, so it makes sense. Wouldn’t we just see the first part of the story?

I don’t think there’s enough drama for Bree and Roger in the seventh book for the TV show. I have a feeling everything from Books 7 and 8 will be combined for the TV series. That’s especially the case as we know Graham McTavish, Lotte Verbeek, and Andrew Whipp are all returning as characters who show up in the eighth book.

It would make sense to complete Bree and Roger’s story of time travel and get them back to the Ridge by the end of the seventh season so they are with Claire and Jamie for the final season.
