Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 25 breakdown
Lord John Grey continues to lie for survival in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 25
Poor Lord John Grey has been stuck as a prisoner and now a rebel in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 25. He continues to do what he must to survive.
I love that we get to see Lord John Grey’s survival skills. I do think reading the novellas would help with understanding John a little more in this chapter, but we get the details we need to so we can see where he is coming from.
You see, John used to be a spy. He can use that to his advantage to make him seem like he’s on the American side. We know he’s still on the British side, but I do wonder if this is some foreshadowing of what could happen in the 10th book of the story. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
I would like to see Lord John Grey’s story play out in Outlander, but I don’t think there will be enough time. I’ll get to that in the adaptation part of this post.
Let’s dive into Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 25.
