Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I think there is certainly some foreshadowing in Benedict Arnold’s storyline here. We know from history that he changes sides, and I think it’s that he ends up with a promotion that puts him behind a desk that does some of it. He gets more information, and naturally, he starts to wonder if the grass is greener. Could the British end up winning?

I do feel like Claire’s thoughts of time travelers also plays a part. She can’t be the only one in the Revolutionary War, can she? Are there others who want to prevent the Americans from winning?

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

We know that Benedict Arnold will show up in Outlander Season 7. He is briefly seen in An Echo in the Bone, and it could be just that part used in Season 7. That could open for Benedict to be included in Season 8.

It’s not all that clear if there is going to be time for everything, but I do think this part is important. We need to see Claire interact with some of the real people in history, and Benedict has a huge part with his decision to turn coat. I would like to see it all play out.
