Claire and Jenny discuss finding Jamie in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 15

In the previous chapter, we learned that Hal is no longer at John’s home. It’s time to find out what’s going on in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 15.

The chapter picks up with a soldier at the house. This soldier wants to know where both John and Hal are, but Jenny and Claire can’t say. Once the soldier goes, their concerns are on another man.

Where is Jamie? He should have been back by now, and Claire knows that he would have come for Claire no matter the risk. That must mean that something has happened to him. Oh, if only she knew!

Jenny wonders if Jamie went to the print shop and she decides that she’ll head there. She’ll get Germain to come back if she can’t get back to the house.

This chapter doesn’t foreshadow all that much. It’s mostly about plot development, and I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.

I do expect to see it used in the TV series. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
