Lord John Grey finds out what may happen to him in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 11

We head back to Lord John Grey in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 11. It’s time to find out what could happen to him.

This chapter sees John learn about Paoli. It’s important to learn this. After all, it was mentioned in the previous chapter with John, and it’s clear that it was something bad. John could die because of it.

John gets information from a Native American who is tasked with watching him. I love that we see him find a friendly face among the Native Americans. It certainly proves that there are a lot of stereotypes, and John didn’t believe them all.

The chapter doesn’t really foreshadow too much of what’s going on. Instead, it offers some plot development for the story.

Will we see this chapter used in the TV series? With the news that Outlander Season 8 is going to be the last, I’m not too sure. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
