Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a lot of plot development in this chapter. It’s clear that this is the end of this friendship. At least, for now it is. Jamie is going to have to do a lot of thinking.

I worried about how Jamie would react around Claire after this interaction. There isn’t any sign of what he will do in this chapter.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I do expect to see this chapter used in Outlander. What I’m not sure is whether it will be Season 7 or if it will be held for a potential Season 8. It all depends on how the writers choose to handle the storyline. After all, it is a storyline that starts in An Echo in the Bone.

I’ll admit that I don’t like how we’re left with so many storylines just open at the end of the seventh book. It means the whole start of Written in My Own Heart’s Blood is focused on wrapping up a few things. That doesn’t work well for TV, so I’m hoping to see all this play out in Outlander Season 7.
