Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t see much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. It’s mostly focused on catching us up on events that have happened and following up with the aftermath. Sometimes, I feel like this chapter could have been at the end of Echo instead of being kept for the start of this book.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I want to see the chapter used in the TV series. I think it’s important to understand William’s feelings at this point. The best way to do that is to show us everything that’s going on. We need to see as he struggles to deal with the anger he feels. It will be important to put a note on why the term b*****d has so much weight to it, though.

If the series is serious about developing other characters, we’ll get this chapter. We got some brilliant moments for Fergus in his anger and pain during Outlander Season 6, so why not have something for William?
