Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
The chapter certainly foreshadows the storyline for William. We’re going to see him try to figure it all out. He needs to figure out who he can trust, who he really is, and what happened the night he was conceived. He is done with people lying to him, and this chapter makes it clear that he’s going to go on a journey of self-discovery.
I think we also get plot development for Jenny and Claire. It’s time for the two women to clear the air.
Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter
I want to see this chapter used in Outlander Season 7. Claire is just so sweet with William in this chapter. She wants to protect Jamie’s name but is also so thoughtful of William’s feelings. We need to see how this plays out in the series as William struggles with who to trust.
With this in mind, the full storyline from the previous chapter needs to be used. We need to see John and Jamie away so William turns to Claire. Of course, there could be another way to deal with it through William asking for just Claire if he gets the guts.
