Brianna finds a letter from Frank in Outlander Book 7, Chapter 91

With Roger gone back in time, Brianna wants to feel close to him. She heads to his study in Outlander Book 7, Chapter 91, where she finds a letter she doesn’t expect.

Brianna isn’t used to Roger being gone from her for too long anymore. While Mandy would be used to him being out of the house for work, Bree knows where he is and the danger that the past can bring. She understandably wants to feel as close to her husband as possible.

It ends up with her finding a letter from Frank. It was intended for her, but it looks like it wasn’t something he was ready to share. In fact, he makes it clear that he wants to tell her things that he can’t, and it’s clear that he’s been looking into the past in his own time. He knows things about Bree that she doesn’t.

I’m not sure if the letter has foreshadowing just yet. I guess there could be things that have already happened, but I do get the sense that Frank knows something is to come that we haven’t seen Bree do yet.

I expect to see this chapter play out, though. As much as we wouldn’t usually see the show do a letter, I expect this one because of the importance of knowing Frank researched when he asked Claire not to.
