Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter doesn’t have that much in the way of foreshadowing. This is all about plot development. It’s clear that there will be a way for Jamie and Claire to no longer need to send money to Laoghaire. They just need to get Laoghaire to marry Joey.

I think there’s also some plot development for Joanie and her standalone short story. She will get to follow her passion to become a nun.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I do expect the chapter to be used in Outlander Season 7. After all, we know Laoghaire and Joanie will return in the season, which means we’re likely to see this whole chapter play out. We’ll also likely see the rest of the story play out. We need to see how Jamie manages to get out of paying the money to Laoghaire. There needs to be some closure to that storyline in the TV series.

We know Claire, Jamie, and Ian are heading back to Scotland based on some of the leaked photos. It will all play out together.
