Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter doesn’t foreshadow too much. There’s this continued development of needing a surgeon, and I have a feeling that it’s going to link to Denny and Claire being the ones to help. Maybe there is some foreshadowing here with Dottie saying that she loves a Quaker—Denny.

There is an element of foreshadowing in William and John embracing. This time it’s in a good way, but there is going to be a time when William isn’t happy to see John. There’s going to be a moment when a few people aren’t happy to see John. I don’t sense the foreshadowing of that in this chapter. I just always get ready for it at this point.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I don’t know if the whole of this chapter is going to be used. I would like to see it, but nothing all that major happens in it. This could mean the chapter is skipped over a little just to save time. We may see John and William embracing, and that’s it. I do think some of this with Henry needing a surgeon is going to be included. After all, we know there are some scenes in Philadelphia taking place.
