Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a lot of plot development in this chapter. We can see the start of Rachel and Ian getting together. It’s clear the two feel the same for each other, and Rachel isn’t going to let her religion stop her from being with the man she loves. She wants to figure out what he meant by her life being in danger, though. We know it’s all linked to Arch Bug.

If there is any bit of foreshadowing, I guess it’s in the strangers. I can’t remember for the life of me what that storyline is all about, though. It’s more plot development than foreshadowing, though. The men don’t represent anything too much but are needed for a plot point.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I’m curious as to whether the start of this chapter is going to be used in Outlander Season 7. I would like to see it to get to know more about Dr. Rawlings, but I can understand if there isn’t the time for it.

I don’t think we’ll see much of Claire’s flashback in the woods. We’ve dealt a lot with Claire’s PTSD from the attack in Outlander Season 6 already. In the book, Claire also goes through what flashbacks were known as in the past, and we’ve already had that mentioned.

It’s not all that necessary for the chapter. We can find another way for Ian to head to Rachel’s tent and kiss her. That part does need to be in the chapter if the show is going to keep moving with the Ian and Rachel storyline.
