Is Rob Cameron friend or foe in Outlander Season 7?

While we still wait for news about Outlander Season 7 and when it could arrive, we’re looking at some of the characters who will or could come up. Rob Cameron is one that we need to see, and it does look like the series has found him. Chris Fulton is reportedly joining the series as Rob, although the show is still to officially confirm this casting.
Rob Cameron is an important character in the seventh book, so we were expecting some casting news. Just how important is he? Will he be friend or foe?
Who is Rob Cameron in Outlander Season 7?
We’ve just recently had the confirmation of two friends to the Frasers in Outlander Season 7. We’ll get to meet the Hunters. It’s not surprising then that Rob Cameron is on the villainous side.
His character comes up in the MacKenzies’ storyline. They’re in the 1980s, and Rob wants the French gold. He learns that Jemmy knows where the gold is, so he kidnaps the young boy. This leads to Roger heading on a journey through the stones to find his son. Bree has to do everything she can in the 1980s to find Jemmy and keep Mandy safe.
Rob is most definitely a foe when it comes to the MacKenzies. It looks like in the books his story could be done, but is that really the case? That’s something we’ll need to find out in later books. Everything should be tied up in Outlander Book 10.
