Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a bit of foreshadowing in this with the shark. I feel like Jamie seeing a hammerhead is important. While not the most dangerous of all sharks in the water, sharks are still the predators of the sea. They rule the waves, so to speak.

It could be that this foreshadowed Jamie ending up in charge yet again while on the water. It could also foreshadow things to come for Roger and Bree. Jamie is the one that had the dream of something coming, and now he’s seen the shark. This can’t be a coincidence.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I would like to see this chapter for a little bit of action, but I’m not 100% sure there’s going to be time for it. There isn’t that much that happens within it, and it all ends as you would expect. Jamie somehow is back in charge of a ship because there is no one to lead.

The one thing about this chapter is that it is needed. We need Claire and Jamie to get north. There are things that happen up there and they link to the Hunters. We know the Hunters are coming in, so we do need to eventually see something from this chapter happen.
