Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is certainly some foreshadowing in this chapter when it comes to the French nobleman involved. We know now that things aren’t quite finished with the Comte. He’s not dead, which is what Claire believes—and I’m sure a few others would believe. Instead, he is a time traveler.

There is still much more of this story to come in the books. It’s hard to see just where everything is going and what all the foreshadowing is about.

As for the Dottie part; this is more ffplot development than foreshadowing.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I don’t think everything involving Beauchamp in the books will come up. I can’t see there being time for this in Outlander Season 7. The only way I could see it working is if the show was guaranteed an eighth season. This series needs more time to tell all these storylines.

However, we do know William is a part of the story. It is possible that we’ll get some of Dottie. It would be great to see more of Hal’s family considering the role they play in William’s story. However, it does all come down to time again. The most important thing for William in the TV show is finding out that Jamie is his father.
