The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 is not coming in September 2022

We continue to wait for Laura Donnelly to return to our screens. When could we see The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 begin on HBO and HBO Max?

We’re certainly getting a little concerned about the future of The Nevers. There are still six episodes to air in the first season, and we know filming has wrapped on them. However, the show is still not on the list of those coming to HBO and HBO Max in September.

That isn’t all too surprising. After all, House of the Dragon has begun, so the focus is on that. When could we see The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 finally make it to the streaming platform?

Will The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 come to HBO in October?

What about the month after? That’s what we thought was possible until recently. Rumor has it that The White Lotus Season 2 will premiere in October, and we’re probably looking at the week after the House of the Dragon finale.

HBO doesn’t tend to bring more than one show at a time. It’s a little like STARZ in the way that new content airs on a Sunday night and that’s about it. Of course, there can sometimes be two shows—and I am surprised that HBO isn’t trying to use House of the Dragon as a lead-in for The Nevers—but it is unlikely.

So, with that in mind, we’re waiting for The White Lotus Season 2 to wrap up. That means we’re looking at a December 2022 release date for the Laura Donnelly series at the earliest. We could have to see the show pushed into 2023, and that certainly is a concern.

Networks don’t want a long break between episodes, especially when it comes to low-performing shows. There is less chance of fans returning, leading to a potential cancellation. We are worried about The Nevers.
