Outlander Season 7 is not coming in September 2022
We would love nothing more than to jump back into Claire and Jamie’s world. The wait for Outlander Season 7 on STARZ continues.
If there is one thing we need, it’s more Outlander. Sure, we can read the books again and watch the show once more, but we want new episodes. That leads to everyone looking out for any sort of update about when Outlander Season 7 will premiere.
Despite knowing it wouldn’t happen, we still looked at the list of releases on STARZ. Of course, our show wasn’t there. However, September does have The Serpent Queen premiering, and this is going to be worth watching to get through a bit more of Droughtlander.
What do we know about our favorite series, though? When will Droughtlander end?
When will Outlander Season 7 premiere on STARZ?
We are still without any idea as to when we could see the season premiere. The last we heard, it would be late 2022 or early 2023. We are working with the early 2023 release date right now, but it will mean the season has to be split in two parts.
I’d be happy with a split season. Bring us eight episodes in February or March and then give us a six-month break or so (after the finale) and then bring the remaining episodes in October or November 2023.
We had hoped to get some sort of update earlier this month. Aug. 14 marks the anniversary of the series premiering, and it’s usually a great time for STARZ to release news. Chances are there’s just too much time between now and early 2023 to risk announcing anything, but it would have been nice to get some sort of sneak peek.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on things for now. As soon as we hear something about Outlander Season 7, we’ll share.
