Jamie tells Claire about an important dream in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 121
Jamie has a dream in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 121. It turns out that it’s far more than just a dream.
From as early as Voyager, we’ve known that Jamie isn’t all that ordinary. Okay, we’ve known that from the very beginning, but it’s Voyager that really brings up Jamie’s abilities and his connection with his family. Brianna also has this same ability.
Jamie dreams of the future. It’s not just a dream of what the future could be like. He sees the future, which means he can tell Claire that Bree and Roger made it through the stones safely. However, I do spot an inconsistency with the timing, although it could be another element to Jamie’s abilities.
I would love to see this included in the TV show. There is the opportunity for it, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
I do think it is more foreshadowing than anything else. I’ll get to my thoughts about that and what it means for Jamie’s abilities in the foreshadowing section of this post.
Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 121.
