When will House of the Dragon premiere?
House of the Dragon is going to be something for Outlander fans during Droughtlander. It premieres in August, but when exactly is the first episode?
When it comes to Droughtlander, we start looking for other content to watch. HBO has a treat coming for us. House of the Dragon is the prequel spin-off of Game of Thrones, and there are surely a lot of Outlander fans who watched Game of Thrones when it was one.
If you didn’t watch Game of Thrones, don’t worry about playing catch up. This is a prequel series, taking place 200 years before the events of the first season of the OG series. You can jump straight into it, and you’re going to want to.
Graham McTavish and Wil Johnson are just two Outlander actors appearing in the show. There’s a chance more will be in the series eventually, especially if we get future seasons. But even if not, the two we know about are going to make you excited to watch it.
House of the Dragon series premiere on HBO
So, now you need to know when the show is going to start. How much of Droughtlander do you need to get through before the series begins? The good news is House of the Dragon premieres in August.
The bad news is we’re waiting until toward the end of August. House of the Dragon will premiere on Sunday, Aug. 21. The episodes will air weekly at 9 p.m. ET.
You can watch the episodes on either HBO or HBO Max, and you can also watch on the channel if you have it. If you’re in Canada like me, you can watch it on Crave—Crave is the only place for all HBO content due to a deal between HBO and Bell right now.
