Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I think the end of the chapter foreshadows a lot. We get that reminder that Murtagh died at Culloden. Jamie doesn’t remember all of it, but he remembers his godfather dying. We get this foreshadowing that Jamie is going to remember a little more. He needs something to trigger his memories.

It doesn’t take long for the memories to come back. The very next chapter involves a battle, and that means answers about Murtagh.

Adapting A Breath of Snow and Ashes chapter

I’m expecting this chapter to be used in Outlander Season 7. Jamie is going to need to build a militia to take into battle, so we need to see him give the men at the Ridge a choice.

I would also like to see Richard Brown and his men come back up. They’re not really to be trusted, but I want to see that opinions about people can change. I also want to see how Claire and Jamie react onscreen to see Richard be willing to follow Jamie.

The ending probably won’t happen. After all, we know what happened to Murtagh. In the TV series, that was pushed to Alamance instead of happening at Culloden. I would love to see Jamie feel Murtagh’s presence with him, though.
