Outlander Book Club: A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 108 breakdown
Brianna finds a way out to help get her saved in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 108
The family is reunited in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 108. Brianna also has to make a decision about Bonnet.
You’ve got to love the way Diana Gabaldon wraps up some of the more intense moments relatively quickly. This storyline has only been going on for around eight chapters. Yet, while this immediate drama is over, we know the Bonnet storyline has been going on for a few books, so it does make it feel like this storyline takes up more space than it does.
The chapter sees Roger, Jamie, Claire, and Ian race to save Brianna. She finds a way out of her captivity thanks to a drip on the ceiling where she’s being held captive. Sadly, not everyone is going to make it out alive, but Ian does manage to get to Phaedre.
The chapter makes it clear that there are still secrets to come out. It continues the plot of the gold, so it’s not really foreshadowing. However, it is important to the story.
We didn’t see a lot of this chapter adapted for the show. I’ll get in to why I think that was in the adaptation section. I don’t mind most of it being avoided. The most important parts were included.
Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 108.
