We don’t always need something set in the past or something serious to get through Droughtlander. Ten Percent is great for something different.

When it comes to Droughtlander, we tend to look for other shows and movies to watch. More often than not, we stick to shows that have a similar vibe to Outlander. This can involve love and romance, or it could involve just being set in the past. That’s not always necessary.

Sometimes you’ll want something that’s a little fun. You want to take your mind off the break that you have between seasons of your favorite show and find something that’s entertaining. That’s certainly something Ten Percent is! It is entertaining in an outrageous way.

What is Ten Percent about?

Ten Percent is a British remake of the French series Call My Agent. It’s set in London, following an actor agency. The agents and their secretaries find themselves in all sorts of trouble as they try to manage their clients and find them work.

There are also personal storylines going on, with Misha being one of the main ones. She turns up out of the blue looking to talk to Jonathan Nightinggale. It’s pretty clear who she is to him, and he doesn’t like that she turns up. However, she ends up with a job as Rebecca’s assistant and proves that she’s good. It means she won’t be fired, but it does mean trouble, especially when she gets to know Jonathan’s son.

Why watch Ten Percent during Droughtlander

This is a series that’s nothing like Outlander, and that’s sometimes what you want. It is a bit of a “pointless” show if you’re looking for something with a lot of drama. However, it’s entertaining and will certainly have you hooked for some of the crazy things that can happen.

It’s packed with cameos. Most of the actors play themselves, and that includes the likes of Helena Bonham Carter, Kelly Macdonald, Emma Corrin, and Phoebe Dynevor.

There are a few actors you’ll recognize with one of them coming from Outlander. Tim McInnerny, who we know as Father Bane, plays Simon Gould throughout the eight episodes available. He’s actually a loveable guy in this series, so you’ll want to watch it just to see another type of role the actor can play. A Discovery of Witches fans will be happy to see Edward Bluemel, who we know as Marcus. Bluemel plays Luke, Jonathan’s son.
