Outlander Book Club: A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 102 breakdown

Brianna tries to figure out where she’s been taken in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 102

We knew Forbes was up to something, and we get to find that out in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 102 what that was. Brianna works on figuring out where she is after finding out who took her.

This is an intense chapter. You see, we learn that Stephen Bonnet is involved in everything and that naturally has us worried. We also get the confirmation that Forbes was involved, and it’s clear that Bree and Josh were likely in the carriage in a previous chapter.

Brianna isn’t just going to accept her fate, though. She works on getting word to her husband or even her father. There’s a prostitute who may be able to do just that, but is this prostitute willing to risk her own life considering what she knows about Stephen Bonnet?

This chapter wasn’t fully used in the TV series. It was partly adapted though, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

There isn’t that much in the way of foreshadowing, though. Really, this is all about plot development, setting the stones for Jamie to find his daughter and for the end of Stephen Bonnet.
