Roger learns that Brianna has been taken in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 101

On the eve of Roger’s ordination, he needs to leave Edenton in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 101. Jamie arrives with news about Brianna.

Up to this point, Roger has been quite out of touch with his family. He’s been in Edenton for several weeks, and this is the first time we’re catching up with what he’s up to. He has no idea that Jamie and Claire have already been through an ordeal, but it’s Brianna that he’s most concerned about.

She’s been abducted. Roger isn’t going to just let his wife be taken. Like Jamie does for Claire, Roger will run through fire to save his wife.

The chapter isn’t going to be used in Outlander Season 7. We’ve already covered Brianna being abducted and everything that came with that. I’ll get to my thoughts on what could be used in this chapter for Season 7, though.

As for foreshadowing, this is more about plot development. I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section of the post.
