As much as we’d love to see what’s next for Claire and Jamie in Outlander Season 7, Droughtlander continues. We won’t get new episodes next month.

We would love to bring some good news about Outlander Season 7. Despite knowing that it wouldn’t be on the list, we still double-checked the STARZ listings for the month of July. Could a miracle happen?

The bad news is no, that miracle hasn’t happened. That being said, there have been a couple of updates about the series, and there are some rumors of casting happening. Here’s what we know about Season 7 so far.

When will Outlander Season 7 premiere on STARZ?

We’re still looking at STARZ splitting the season in half. The last we heard, the plan was to premiere the season in early 2023. However, Sam Heughan recently shared that filming for the season would take until February or March next year. How can we get the season while it’s still filming? The best way to do that is to split the season in two. It worked for Season 1.

According to Survived the Shows, the actors for Denzell Hunter and Rachel Hunter may have been found. These are just rumors at this time, though.

Joey Phillips may be joining the series. His look matches that of someone spotted while filming in Glasgow, and it could be Denzell Hunter.

Izzy Meikle-Small has also been spotted in the city. Is it possible she’ll take on the role of Rachel Hunter? She certainly has the look that I’ve pictured after reading the books. Hopefully, we’ll get some casting announcements soon. Rachel is a major character for Ian so we need to see her.

The two are connected to William Ransom. We know Adult Willie has been cast, finally, and that should mean some of Willie’s storylines from An Echo in the Bone are included in Outlander Season 7.
