Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The foreshadowing in this chapter is about Fergus and Marsali. Fergus can’t head to the Governor’s palace. Jamie and Ian agree that Fergus needs to protect his family and business, and that means he can’t be seen doing business with the governor.

We know that there is trouble for Fergus and Marsali coming. They will end up having to move to another part of the country because of that trouble. Fergus will do what he can to protect his family.

Adapting A Breath of Snow and Ashes chapter

The chapter hasn’t been adapted yet, and I’m not all that sure it will be. After all, Claire has ended up in Wilmington in the series and not in New Bern. We know Fergus and Marsali are in New Bern. This removes the ability of Jamie and Ian to turn to Fergus and Marsali for help.

We also know Ian and Jamie aren’t alone. They have the Cherokee, which suggests there is something bigger for using them and there could be some sort of fight to get Claire back.

I would love to see this chapter adapted, but I’d understand if it can’t happen. There won’t be much time to adapt this part, and there are other chapters that are more important to the overall story.
